Privatization the Key to Economic Sustainability:
(Evolve, Empower, Engage):
We all are aware of the fact that Business & Economy are
going through unexpected stress from couple of quarters, due to sluggish growth
rate, rupee depreciation which is highest as of now approx (13%), weak
investor/consumer sentiment, and volatile stock market, unable to define robust
policy / reforms, are some of the core circumstances. But, the actual solution
is about decision / risk taking & adapt to Change Management that reflex
some of the innovative / creative framework that will take India as One of the
Emerging Country in Global Context. Leaders are not in a position to level
themselves with ground realities, to try, evaluate, analyze & understand
the pros & cons of building a Sustainable Developing economy which
capitalize environment, society & people at large. The Biggest Example for
that is FDI--- which is 100% finalized as of now for Telecom & Probably
touching Defense sector also, but what about the rest of the Industry portfolio
which is still not clear about the Investment process & formalities like (49%)
on Multibrand & 30% sourcing norms from SME/SMBs, but for some Specific
Brand who have submitted their proposals & are already Finalized after
going thru tremendous wait & watch approach like Swedish Retail (IKEA). Questions
arise over here why we are not defining strong rules for FDI on Sectoral based
Specific Guidelines which becomes flexible for specialized sectors to take a
decision for their investment proposition. Talking about another More Demanded
one is the Banking where licensing permit becomes a Major challenge in order to
tackle with our Current Account Deficit (CAD), along with stringent norms for
International Players to register them as Indian Subsidiary & power the
operation process. Now, it looks the Newly Appointment RBI Governor “ Prof. Raghuram Rajan” will try
to fix the Economy in collaboration with free market engagement, will escalate
some potential innovative process that will benefit Privatization &
Liberalization. The Biggest mistake we as people are doing is that we are not
open to Learnings/ challenges which will benefit our knowledge Economy &
empower Changes in everything & anything we do from Industrialization/
Investment/ Individual point of view, because of dependency. Today, if we
evaluate Our Industry wise (sectoral based) performances how many of them are
actually in a Stage of Sustainability, the response is VERY EXCEPTIONAL FEW
ONE. India ’s
Governance policy is not so flexible enough to accommodate & accept
anything, because of rigid kind of political set-ups which are complex by
nature leads to time consuming process for decision making which hamper the
developmental growth. Our country needs to build a Foundation of Fruitful Resources
in collaboration with Private Players that will empower economy in every step
of our lives which will enhance our maturity in thought process. As we move
ahead I think that it’s the Privatization that will propose a platform for
possible growth in the field of Enterprising, Employment, Education &
Economy which favors the future. So, it depends on our political/ beaurocratic
system how broadmindedly they will adapt & create a space that will nurture
Independent / Individuals, Investments / Industrialization. Last but not the
least, as the next Elections is close by & our Economy is encountering
tough challenges – what is that One Promise we can perceive that will give us a
Sustainable Living Pattern. - “Is it the Privatization that will take care of
People”- Or- “It is as usual Painful Political system/ baseless
bureaucrats who have no plans for
People.”
