How Institutions Effects Individual’s Identity:
Dependency Are Dangerous:
Most of the Organizations/ Institutions are running
completely in a Traditional Hierarchical Structure despite operating in a
Highly Technologically empowered globalization. Except a Few Ones who are
defining breakthroughs in their business model are able to sustain or survive
in the coming trends. Due lack of
acceptability towards change & unwillingness to adapt technological
interface & emerging escalation, a good number of Institutions/Organizations
are taking advantage (Exploit) Individuals/professionals. As a result of that individuals are not in a
position to define a dared decisions to create a concrete canvas for them, the
reason for that is Dependency, whether for cost, limited opportunity, no
learning or experiential engagement, less of knowledge, fear of
hardworking/smart work, economic insecurity, liability factor, etc or may be
many more issues which are uncountable. Let’s have a look on some criteria how
Institutions/Organizations are taking advantage of Individuals which are not
constructive from career/growth point of view:
a) Not
allowing flexibility towards Innovation, ideas for exploration
/implementations.
b) Pressurizing
on deliverables based on traditional model/ structures which are outdated/ not
acceptable.
c) Reporting
system/Reports to bosses which are just old school model, not to open to
changes or challenges that can convert into tomorrow’s solutions.
d) Hierarchical
Structure that differentiates the level of efficiency hurts individual’s growth
factor being delivered with utmost responsibility.
e) Old
Fashion screening, recruitment, training & development processes which are
unable to address the gap in relation to industry, market, consumer
expectations.
f) Lack
of Identifying strength & weakness of People Capital as well as Industries
capabilities to define a new era of business base.
g) Gap
in communication & transparency in relation to Professional & Profit
Perspectives.
h) Corrupt/
Mal Practices among Industry Leaders, Managers, Subordinates (Individual/
Collectives) leads to inefficiency in intellectual capital but increases greed &
damages Image/Identity.
i)
Unusual/New/Not so Defined RELATIONSHIP exists among
Institutions/Organizations between an individual which leads to unhealthy work
Culture/environment that defines Society without Security/Self-respect.
j)
Limit to learning's & lack of listening skills from
every layers of People in an Organization Structure leads to Disrespect for
Professionals which ultimately affects the Identity of an Individual in a
structured format.
k) Improper
Motivation/ Encouragement/Appraisal are something which is missing from Top-to-
Bottom level hampers, individuals growth & ownership aspects in respect to
his/her domain.
l) Unable to develop a Knowledge based atmosphere where
technology connects totality, due to constantly playing the last hole &
unable to breakthroughs.
m) Flattering/
References based approach within the own fraternity, leads to immature work
practices which will spoil the moral of high performers, leads to complex
career approach in an Institution format from growth aspects point of view.
n) Not
Accountable to People/ Performances/ Profits, only accountable to
Pockets/Wallets at the end of the month leads to dependency &
non-performances, creates a big questions mark for Organization Sustainability
& Cost aspects- in relation to ROI (Return on Investments).
o) Not
so Grounded with Realities to solve some of the Complex issues related on day
to day issues of an Organization disturbs solution driven processes.
The above mentioned points are some of the core classified
analysis, but there will be many more which are exist in any
Institutions/Organization Formats, except some Categorical Ones. Probably, they
are part & parcel of an Institution/Organization structure, true, but not
necessary. Ultimately, an Institutions needs to design an Informative,
Innovative & Inclusive culture which will encompass Individual Identity
& secure their aspirations & inspire them to Grow Forth. Today, Time is
changing at a faster pace, so Industrialization also, but individual needs to
identify their involvement which will have an impact on their Identity -- the
solution is Choice- choose & curve your niche.
